Volt Festival

The Volt Fesztival is the annual festival arranged in Sopron, Hungary. Sopron is a city on the border to Austria, and every year thousands upon thousands (in 2007 it was more than 70 000) come to Sopron to take part in the Volt Festival. Accoring to the Volt Fesztival homepage the festival is “one of the most exciting multicultural festivals in Central Europe, expecting its guests in the middle of a fabulous forest every July. Four days long, visitors are welcome with 15 stages and approximately 200 programs: concerts, DJ’s, theater shows, performances, intimate cafes, pubs, restaurants.”
