Chocolate Museum

We all love chocolate, and many of us love marzipan. The Szamos family is well known in Hungary for their marzipan and for a long time, you could visit the marzipan museum in the basement of the Hilton hotel next to the Matthias Church. But, it has now moved to the Pest side, where you can find it next to the Hungarian Parliament. Not only has it moved, but the focus has moved to chocolate. As a result, it is now called a chocolate museum instead of a marzipan museum.

As you visit the chocolate museum, you can learn more about the history of chocolate and how it started in Hungary. You can also visit marzipan statues that have been made with up to 78kg of marzipan. It is also possible to join chocolate-making programs here, making this a perfect program for families and those in love with chocolate and marzipan.
