Szentendre

Szentendre is known for its museums, most known is the Open-Air Ethnographical Museum, galleries, and artists. Not far from Budapest you can reach it with the HEV (City train), which departes from Batthyany Square (red metro). Mahart also have boats travelling daily during the summer to Szentendre. The city has cosy small streets, almost a little magical, and many special shops and stores that will fascinate every tourist.

There are several museums to visit, and when you have visited the Open-Air Ethongraphical Museum, you should head towards the Marzipan Museum, where you can find a sculpture of Michael Jackson made of marzipan. There are also opportunities to taste and buy for those who get hungry along the way.

For those who like art the Margit Kovacs ceramic museum is a thrill.
