Danubius Hotel Gellért **** This is one of the hotels that is enjoying a great reputation abroad. The main reason for this is the famous Gellert Termal Bath. Almost all tourist books and booklets contain at least one picture from this bath. It has beautiful interior, and you can find inside and outdoor pools. The price (free for hotel guests) is around 3000 Forint.Several people have commented that the four stars might be because of the hotels fame, and not so much because of the quality. Some would say much smoke, but little fire. Anyway, this is one of the most famous hotels, and it has a good placement, only one bridge away from the Vaci Street and the Big Market Hall.
