Balatonalmádi is located on the northern side of Lake Balaton, not far from the popular city of Balatonfüred. This is a quite popular place among Hungarians, but it is not a very touristic city. Balatonalmádi lacks attractions and activities, and is mostly a nice city for those who rent an apartmant or a house and plan on spending their time their or swimming in Lake Balaton.
Balatonalmádi can also be nice if you plan to do several excursions, but Balatonalmádi in itself is not the paradise for tourists longing for action, attractions, good restaurants and activities.
