Heviz

According to statistics this is place in Hungary, outside Budapest, where people spend most nights in hotels. Though only 4500 people live here, it is well known for its lake, 47,500 metres in area. It is the biggest of its kind in the world. During the summer the temperature of the lake is between 33-38 degrees, during autumn and winter between 24 and 26 degrees. The water contains calcium, magnesium, sulfur, radon and bicarbonate.

It is very close to Lake Balaton, and also to the Sarmellek airport. There are several very good hotels in the area.

If you want to go swim in the lake, the price will be between 1200-1600 forint. You can also have different kind of treatments/massages.
