That is why there are lots of opportunities for women to spend hour after hour in shopping malls and centers. In general it must be said that the price level on electronics is the same as everywhere else, and clothe prices are also increasing, but still there are many places where you can find good quality at very good prices. Below we list up some of the best places.Arena Plaza About: The newest and the biggest shopping center in Budapest! It opened November 2007, and though it was a little bit messy in the start, it has already turned very popular among the youth of Budapest. You can find a big Tesco inside, and many famous fashion brands (Peek & Cloppenburg, Terranova, Zara, H&M, Springfield, Mexx, Marks & Spencer, Mango, Lacoste, Retro and many more. All the big fast food companies are present, and the only minus is its location. If you travel to Keleti Palyaudvar with metro it is 5 minutes to walk from there. Address: 1087 Budapest, Kerepesi út 9 Metro stop: Keleti Pályaudvar (red metro) More information: Homepage West End Citycenter About: This is the most popular and said to be one of the biggest shopping centers in central Europe. It has lots of shops, a big cinema (with some films played in English), great food opportunities, and most known shops can be found there.Address: 1062 Budapest, Váci Út 1-3 Metro stop: Nyugati Pályaudvar (blue metro) More information: Homepage Mammut About: This center is found on the Buda side, and consist of two buildings. The shops are a little bit more expensive here, and though many people like it, this is not the favorite among Hungarians. Address: 1024 Budapest, Lövőház Street 2-6 Metro stop: Moszkva Tér (red metro) More information: Homepage Arkad About: This is the place girls who like shopping clothes like. With all the newest fashion shops inside, this is the place they dream of as they sit bored in school. For those who doesnt like shopping clothes so much, this can turn rather boring. This is where many people from Budapest would go, as they like it better than for example West End. Address: 1024 Budapest, Lövőház Street 2-6 Metro stop: Örs Vezér Tere (red metro) Váci Utca About: This is the shopping street of Budapest which is just getting better and better. November 2007 a new big shopping mall opened in this street which contains a big H&M and New Yorker. In the street you can also find Zara, Promod, C&A, Mango, Salamander, Humanic, Marks and Spencer and several shops where you can buy tourist effects. In the northern end you can find the famous Gerbeaud Café and Confectioner´s, and in the southern end you will find the Big Market Hall. The street is not so long, so it is easy to walk through it. Address: Vaci Utca Metro stop: Vörösmarty Utca (yellow metro), Ferenciek Tere (blue metro) The big Market Hall About: In the basement you can find fishshops, ground floor you can find meat and fruits, and in the first floor you can find all the tourist articles a tourist can dream of; pictures, chess tables, postcards, bags, t-shirts, glasses, cards... everything!
