Szechényi Fürdő

Szechenyi FürdőOne of the biggest tourist attractions in Budapest is the Szechényi Termal Bath. The wellness industry is booming, and hotels are built in record speed. In this bath there are several indoor and outdoor pools. The warmest outdoor pool has a constant temperature of 38°C. The water originally has a much higher temperature, but they cool it down before they let the water out into the 38°C pool. The bath also has massage possibilities and when you first pay, you can stay as much as you want. The water is declared to be healing water, because of the minerals it contains.

Some people claim that the place is a little dirty, but in the last years lots of money has been used to improve the look, and it has succeeded. Give it a try!
