The International Wine Festival is one of the most popular festivals in all of Hungary every year. In 2011 you can visit this in the Castle area between September 7-11. Here you can taste a wide specter of Hungarian wines, and you can for sure eat some typical Hungarian festival food.

As of August 20th, 2011, the Hungarian Parliament can yet again be seen in its total beauty as darkness breaks forth in Budapest. After some quite boring years the Parliament is yet again beautiful, and below you can see a picture made on August 21st, 2011. Budapest is often visited by great and famous praise and worship bands, as Ez az a Nap (This is the Day) is doing an awesome work arranging these kinds of concerts. Because of this Budapest has been visited by Hillsong, Planetshakers, Ron Kenoly, Delirious, Michael W. Smith, Petra and similar artists several times, and now, in the autumn of 2011, Jesus Culture will come to town. Jesus Culture is getting more and more popular around the globe, and many of their songs have turned into big hits around in churches. October 2nd they will perform in Budapest Sportarena, so if you like their music, or if you are simply curious, check it out. Quite a lot of Hungarian artists will perform at the concert as well.

It is hard to say whether the match between Hungary and Finland will be an interesting one or not, but if we are lucky, this might be a match that will have importance for Hungary, and where they are still fighting to be among the teams present at the European Championship in 2012. We already receive emails from persons and groups planing to come to Budapest for the annual Christmas Market in 2011. The most frequent question is of course when the Christmas Market will open, and the correct answer is November 18th. So, if you would like to see the traditional and great Christmas market at Vörösmarty Square in Budapest, make sure to arrive to Budapest sometime around November 18th or later.
Budapest is a city of great festivals, and this year between August 25 and 28 a new festival will see the light of day in the capital of Hungary. Budapest Beerfestival will be arranged in the backyard of the Castle, and this is a festival where you can taste a mixture of Hungarian beers and international beers. There will be several other programs, concerts and artists on the spot.
