yes you can, also throughout the night. But it is not a “guarded” parking or so, which means you shouldn’t leave valuables in the car etc.

I would most likely stay in the large parking lot between Campona and the railway track, but in theory, there shouldn’t be any problems leaving your car there either.

It is free parking in Budapest on Sundays, so if you will not attend the concert yourself, then you should just drop of those going to the concert and park along the street somewhere nearby. But, a better option might be to just head to Arena Plaza, the popular mall afterward. There you can park at a cheap cost per hour, sit down, drink a coffee (or something else), and use the free WiFi, and then after the concert, it is easy to get to the plaza for those attending the concert on foot, or you can head back to the venue… or just park in the street… it is up to you!

Cannot confirm or deny this. The street is located in an area where there are parking fees, but it might be that this is left out for some reason? Anyway, I would be careful, and if free parking it is available, I can guarantee you that the locals and other Hungarians there know about it, which means it will be extremely hard to find a parking lot there. But once again, don’t know anything for sure.

I am using a similar application myself and it works very fine, so if you pay for parking by app, it works very well. It might be worth, just to be sure, to check that the GPS uses the correct zone for parking. This isn’t normally a problem, but I was once actually fined (out of the more than 100 times I have used such an app) because the application and the GPS placed me in a neighboring zone and not the actual zone. Besides that, this works very well! 🙂

I have one question – i planned to park in a public spot and pay the fee via “Simple” app. With this app it is possible to automatically renew the parking every three hours.
What I wanted to check is if you have any information if this app works fine and it cannot happen that you get a ticket even though you payed via app?

I tried paying this way in Tihany and worked fine, but you cannot tell if controller come by in the meantime. 🙂
