A short answer is that you cannot make the beautiful shots of the Chain Bridge now due to the work being done. There are some lights on the bridge but it doesn’t even get close to the beauty of the bridge on a normal day. If you want to get a feeling of what to expect I suggest you check the live camera below where you can see what the bridge looks like right now. If you check it in the evening, you will see the present illumination of the Chain Bridge and if that feels enough to you, come and make a picture of it. If you’d rather wait, come to Budapest later.

All stores were open on Sundays for many years until the politicians decided to close them. This remained so for a couple of years before they removed the law, meaning that stores can now stay open on Sundays if they want to. As a result, most stores are open on Sundays, though some are open for a shorter period than on the other days of the week. As a result, many grocery stores close around 18.00 on Sundays (instead of 20.00 or 21.00 or 22.00), but some exceptions stay open for a longer time.
Special stores with private owners keep open based on the command of their owners. Some keep open on Sundays while other’s don’t. Fashion stores in the shopping street Vaci utca and in the malls are all open on Sundays.

Shortly, right now the adult entrance fee is 4500 HUF per person while the kid entrance fee is 3200 HUF. There are quite a lot of family tickets available, for example:
2 adults + 2 kids: 13,300 HUF
1 adult + 2 kids: 9400 HUF
1 adult + 3 kids: 11,700 HUF
2 adults + 4 kids: 17,400 HUFThese are some examples, and they are valid as of May 2023. They might change in the future, but these will at leave give you an estimation of what you need to pay as you visit Budapest Zoo.

I’d clearly say that Budapest is a city in which the public transportation is easy to use, fairly cheap, and more than enough for almost all your needs. The areas in which tourists move are quite central, meaning that if don’t mind walking, you can easily move between the castle area, the shopping street, the grand market hall, and other areas on foot. BUt, if you really want to travel with transport, the metro system is easy to use and a one-way ticket costs approximately 400 HUF. You can also buy a one-day pass or a three-day pass which is very ideal if you plan on using the public transportation regularly during your stay.
Taxis are more expensive than before, meaning you will normally pay between 3000-5000 HUF for trips within the city center of Budapest. The hop-on hop-off buses are nice for sightseeing, but not for general travel in Budapest. It should also be mentioned that since the Gellert Hill is currently closed for tourists and the castle area extremely hard to approach by bus, I really don’t see any use of a hop-on hop-off bus in Budapest at the moment.

it is normal to add a tip or the so-called service fee as you pay for services like taxis and eat in restaurants or visit a confectionary or coffee-house. That is the theory. The real-life experience is that a very high percentage of restaurants and confectionaries add the service fee which often varies between 10% and 15% directly to the bill, meaning that it is already included. In such cases, you shouldn’t add anything on top of the amount you see on the bill. This is normally showing up on the bill as service fee (with a percentage behind). You can also look in the menu beforehand as it will normally be told you there if the service fee is included or not on the final bill.If you visit a hairdresser, you can add a tip at the end (the hairdresser will be very happy).
There aren’t a lot of gardening stores in the city center, and you will not find much like this in the market hall. You might find some in Hermes by Keleti Railway station (Baross tér 16.), but to be sure, I’d rather visit one of the OBI stores in Budapest (in Köki Terminal, the end station of blue metro line), or the one by Savoya Park (end station of tram line 18).
There are also 100% gardening stores such as Fitoland and Oazis that you can search for in Google Maps.
The price is currently 4000 HUF. That includes the fee for travel in both directions. There is no such thing as a one-way ticket, meaning that you need to pay this fee no matter if you want to travel only one direction. The children’s ticket is 2000 HUF (3-14 years).
Is it worth it? The trip lasts for approximately 90 seconds. A similar funicular in Zagreb that lasts for 60 seconds is priced at 0,6 euros (which is 300 HUF). Honestly, I don’t think it is worth it, I’d rather use my legs and skip the line and reach the top faster, with more money left in my wallet, and I even burnt some calories in the process.
The funicular operates between 8.00 and 22.00.

To make it short in English you need 1kg potatoes, 2 eggs, some spoons of flour and oil. Mash the potatoes totally, mix them with the eggs and the flour. Here you can also add salt, pepper and garlic. Pour the oil into a pan, heat it up, and then take parts of the dough and place it in the hot oil. You can shape them with a spoon. They should be fried there for 4-5 minutes on each side.
