AC/DC tour in Europe has started

AC/DC has started their tour in 2009, and the opening city was Oslo, Norway. The tickets for that concert were sold out within one hour. Some Norwegian papers commented that the concert looked very similar to the one they had a couple of years ago, but that it still was a great show!

All around Europe the tickets has been sold out very fast, and so also for the Budapest concert. AC/DC will come to Budapest 23 March, and TicketPro has no more tickets left (they were sold out in approximately two weeks). Still WorldTicketShop claim to have tickets for the concert, so if you need some, just visit WorldTicketShop. The tickets there are of course very expensive, but if you really need those tickets, you might pay the price anyway.

While waiting you can watch this Youtube video showing some scenes from the opening concert of the Black Ice tour (video posted in 2008).

AC/DC in Budapest

What a surprise! 🙂

Madonna TicketsIt is February 20 and the time is 10.05 as I write this. For those informed they know that the ticketsale for the Madonna concert in Budapest started five minutes ago. So, I thought I would visit TicketPro just for fun, to see if what I predicted yesterday turned out to be true (overloaded servers and delays). First I got an error page coming up trying to enter the TicketPro homepage. Second time I entered a temporary page that said:

“Dear Customers! Our website is under heavy demand at the moment. In order to serve you with tickets with the highest possible standards we temporary stopped providing content on this site. If you are here to buy your Madonna ticket, please follow this link.”

Then I tried clicking the link, but I received a new error page. Then I tried again… a new error page. And now I am writing this article. But, it is just to try for everyone, and then it will probably become better within some hours, hopefully!

Information and tickets: Eventim
Throughout the 1990’s as well as the 1980’s, 1970’s, 1960’s and 1950’s, there has been only one King of the Blues – Riley B. King, affectionately known as B.B. King. Since B.B. started recording in the late 1940’s, he has released over 50 albums many of them considered blues classics, like 1965’s definitive live blues album “Live At The Regal”, and 1976’s collaboration with Bobby “Blue” Bland, “Together For The First Time”. Over the years, B.B. has had two number one R & B hits, 1951’s “Three O’Clock Blues”, and 1952’s “You Don’t Know Me”, and four number two R & B hits, 1953’s “Please Love Me”, and 1954’s “You Upset Me Baby”, 1960’s “Sweet Sixteen, Part I”, and 1966’s “Don’t Answer The Door, Part I”. B.B.’s most popular crossover hit, 1970’s “The Thrill Is Gone” went to #15 pop. But B.B. King, as well as the entire blues genre, is not radio oriented. His classic songs such as “Payin’ The Cost To Be The Boss”, “Caldonia”, ” How Blue Can You Get”, “Everyday I Have The Blues”, and “Why I Sing The Blues”, are concert (and fan) staples.

————————————-
Below you can read our article from January 29 telling about the rumour that Madonna was to come to Budapest.

The last days this mystical concert list has started to flow on the internet, telling about the prolonging of Madonnas Sweet & Sticky tour from 2008. It is said that Madonna on this tour want to visit places that she could not visit during her Sweet & Sticky tour in 2008, which include Budapest as well!

A list was also added to their homepage, and then removed within short time; and I have not found any official sources to confirm the dates and places, but we just thought that we would add the list, and then let us see, if it turns true. If so, the Budapest fans would at least not have to travel to Vienna like thousands of people did last year to see the Madonna concert there!

If it turns true, Madonna is supposed to enter the stage at Puskas Ferenc Stadium the 6th of August, 2009.

Update:
We contacted TicketPro to ask them about the concert today, and their reply was: “We understand your curiosity, but unfortunately we do not have any official information about the Madonna concert either.
Eventim also answered our email, and they answered: “Unfortunately we do not have any information about a Madonna concert.

The tour list is not correct. For a full and complete and correct Madonna Tour list visit World Concerts.
