Fernando Botero exhibition in Museum of Fine Arts extended

The Fernando Botero exhibition in the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest was supposed to close down yesterday, but it has been extended for one more month. So, if you have not visited the museum for this cool exhibition yet, you have been given a mercy month to do so.

Palinka and Sausage Festival 2011

The annual Palinka and Sausage Festival in Budapest is a very popular event bringing lots of Hungarian and tourists to the Castle area of Budapest to drink Palinka and to eat delicious Hungarian sausage. The dates for the International Winefestival in Budapest in 2011 has been launched. If you like wine, champagne and would like to be there on the terrace in front of the Castle, then you better visit Budapest between September 7 and 11 in 2011.

Last chance to see Klimt and Botero in Museum of Fine Arts

Since early autumn 2010 there have been two very popular exhibitions in the Museum of Fine Arts located at the Heroes Square in Budapest. The first exhibition, “Nuda Veritas. Gustav Klimt and the Origins of the Vienna Secession 1895–1905“, has been available since September 23rd, and the last day of the exhibition will is January 9th, 2011.

The other exhibition named Fernando Botero’s paintings opened September 30th, and the last day of the exhibition in the Museum of Fine Arts is January 23rd. So, if these exhibtions sounds interesting, you better hurry up and visit the Museum of Fine Arts before the paintings are transported to their next exhibition venue.

Volt Festival 2011

Not far away from Austria and Vienna the beautiful city of Sopron is located. To Sopron thousands of people travel every year to parttake in the annual festival named “Volt Festival”. In 2011 they will probably return between June 29th and July 2nd, as these are the dates for the festival.
